WINDROW SHREDDERS - Our Windrow Shredders shred and build neat, uniform windrows in one pass. The hydraulic driven, 24" wide, high capacity, ribbed belt cross conveyor processes the maximum amount of material at high speeds. The special large screened top allows dirt and dust to escape resulting in cleaner windrows. Operating the shredder at 6 miles per hour will produce a windrow approximately 2 feet high by 4 feet wide. We use a heavy duty 280 H.P. gearbox with built-in overrunning clutch to insure the highest reliability. HIGH DENSITY FOLDING PLANTER - Our new massive hydraulic folding frame was designed to mount 3 separate high density planter modules. The planter features 12 seed distributors with polilatex horizontal sponge rollers with 8 outlets each, so a total of 96 rows can be planted at the same time. A hydraulic motor powers the 6 stainless steel front and rear rollers to insure smooth level beds. The 96 stainless steel soil openers are adjustable for spacings as close as 1 1/4 inches apart. Simple crank adjustment give exact depth control. The quantity of seeds planted is controlled by changing chain and sprocket ratios. VEGETABLE RESIDUE SHREDDERS - Our new "top of the line" flail shredders were designed exclusively for shredding vegetable residue. After harvest, fine shredding of the remaining vegetation greatly aids decomposition after tilled in before the next crop. The rotors come standard with 8" long cupped blades or optional contoured blades that can be used in combinations of 5", 6 1/2", 8" and 9 1/2" lengths to conform to any furrow size. ONION TOPPER SHREDDERS - These unique shredders were developed for topping onions, but are used for shredding other crops as well. The rotors were designed with same length 8" heat treated, cupped blades or the popular contoured rotor blades; that can be used in combinations of 5", 6 1/2", 8" and 9 1/2" lengths to meet virtually any spacing required. The contoured blades allow growers to top onions and shred debris down the sides of beds and in the furrows. The special upswept hood allows the shredded material to fall back to the ground 10 to 12 feet spread out evenly behind the shredder. As standard equipment special front mounted toolbars are included for adding accessories like gauge wheels for additional depth control.
